I will treat each participant, opposing coach, official, parent and administrator with respect and dignity.
I will do my best to learn the fundamental skills, techniques, and strategies associated with my activity.
I will become thoroughly familiar with the rules of the ESFL, youth cheerleading and / or youth football.
I will become familiar with the objectives of the ESFL and the franchise with which I am affiliated.
I will strive to achieve the objectives of the ESFL, and the franchise with which I am affiliated, and communicate them to my coaches and parents.
I will uphold the authority of officials who are assigned to the games in which I play and will assist them in every way to conduct them fairly and impartially.
I will conduct myself in practices as well as games so that all participants have an opportunity to improve their skill level through active participation.
I will cooperate with the administrators of my franchise and the league in enforcement of rules and I will report irregularities that violate sound competitive practices.
Any participant caught smoking, drinking alcohol, or using illegal drugs will be immediately dismissed from participation in the ESFL.
Fighting and horse playing will not be tolerated and may make me ineligible to participate in games.
Unexcused absences from practice may make me ineligible to participate in games.
Swearing of any kind during practices or games may make me ineligible to participate in games.
Abusive playing equipment in (throwing helmets, etc.) may make me ineligible to participate in games.
I understand that if I am found in violation of any of the above that I or my franchise or both may incur some disciplinary action. The franchise shall have the first right of disciplinary action but the league's board of directors may also initiate action. Such action could be in the form of admonition, probation, temporary or permanent suspension, a fine or combination thereof.
1st Offense: Verbal warning with log in franchise file.
2nd Offense: Parent(s) and coaches to meet and discuss the problem.
3rd Offense: Meeting with Franchise Executive Board, possible sanctions, report submitted to ESFL.
4th Offense: Dismissal from the franchise, and report submitted to ESFL.
